چکیده
Bioavailability of catechinsin wider range plants was established earlier and it’s utility as medicine against cardiovascular disease, cancer, etc. were also demonstrated. Recent techniques in relation to quantitative analysis total catechins seem be laborious time consuming process handle huge number samples. Established spectrophotometry HPLC methods developed for determination tea extracts compared the present study.UV-Vis spectrophotometric method adopted monitor absorbance at 500 nm reaction mixture (catechins vanillin-H2SO4reagents). Hewlett Packard automated used equipped with Phenomenex Luna 5 phenyl-hexyl column fitted a guard column. Binary elution carried out using Mobile phase A (acetic acid acetonitrile) B (acetonitrile). Method showed good resolution catechin fractions found accurate quantification (sum individual catechins). Results both are comparable variation amongst two ranged between -3.59 2.79% among clones varied seasons. As expected UPASI released exhibited variations their bioavailability. Lean season edge over cropping period sampling terms catechins. obtained from comparable. Two can routine catechins; however, simple, rapid cost effective than that unless composition is warranted.

Quantification of fullerene aggregate nC60 in wastewater by high-performance liquid chromatography with UV-vis spectroscopic and mass spectrometric detection.
This paper evaluates the performance of liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) and solid phase extraction (SPE) in separating and concentrating aqueous fullerene (nC(60)) from wastewater and compares UV-vis spectroscopy and mass spectrometry for the quantification of C(60). LLE was suitable for multiple wastewater matrices, while SPE required filtration or reclaimed wastewater and secondary effluent of...
متن کاملValidated UV-Vis Spectrophotometric Method for Determination of Gabapentin using Acetyl Acetone and Formaldehyde Reagents
Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant widely used in the treatment of epilepsy. An accurate and validated spectrophotometric method was developed as an alternative method to determine gabapentin in pharmaceutical products. This is a simple, accurate, precise, selective and visible spectrophotometric method. The method is based on the measurement of drug absorbance as a result of yellow solution format...
متن کاملFlavonoid Quantification in Onion by Spectrophotometric and High Performance Liquid Chromatography Analysis
Direct spectrophotometric determination of quercetin content in onions (Allium cepa L.) was investigated as a possible alternative to high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis. Quercetin content in five onion varieties was monitored at 362 nm and quantified using simple spectrophotometric and HPLC methods. HPLC revealed that 3,4'-Qdg and 4'-Qmg comprised up to 93% of total flavonol...

متن کاملA simple method for quantification of allopurinol and oxipurinol in human serum by high-performance liquid chromatography with UV-detection.
OBJECTIVES Allopurinol is a uric acid lowering drug used in the treatment of gout and the prevention of tumor lysis syndrome. Allopurinol and its active metabolite oxipurinol inhibit xanthine oxidase, which forms uric acid from xanthine and hypoxanthine. Therapeutic drug monitoring is an important option for evaluation and optimization of allopurinol treatment in case of renal impairment, inter...
